Counselling

What is counselling?

Counselling takes place when I see you, the client, in a private and confidential setting to explore the difficulties you are experiencing, perhaps dissatisfaction with your life or a loss of a sense of direction and purpose.

By listening attentively I can begin to perceive the difficulties from your point of view and can help you to see things more clearly, possibly from a different perspective. Counselling is a way of enabling choice or change or of reducing confusion.

What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy?

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy explores thoughts, feelings and behaviours. We discuss whether alternative ways of thinking and/or behaving could address some of the difficulties within your life.
